Dahlia & Dragon Designs produces original art works in several different media. Both of the artists have Diplomas in Fine Art, and have been working in the field for many years. Art work can be executed in traditional media such as oil paint, acrylics, pencil and pastel, but we pride ourselves in keeping up all developments within the art field. Due to this, we have been concentrating on the media of Digital Painting. Digital Painting is done entirely on a computer, although the methods of executing the work are identical to traditional media. The artist begins with a hand drawn sketch, and begins building up brush strokes in a 2 dimensional rendering computer program such as Adobe Photoshop CS2. There is no painting over photographs at all, and the image is created entirely from scratch.

All original Digital Paintings done for clients, although still copyright of the artist, will not be printed for anyone else - so you will be the only one who has the image. Digital Paintings chosen from existing images may be reproduced for other clients,but still retain value as numbered prints.
